Hartlen in the fog

It's very cold today, but just a few days ago it was mild and misty at Hartlen Point and Wendy, Trey and I had a lovely walk there.

I love it there !

  1. Thanks Bonnie. I love that sort of "bleak" beauty ...

  2. Love the moody pictures, especially the panorama (and the dogs patiently waiting for you to quit messing with that camera and throw the ball).

    1. Thanks Les. I don't spend much time messing with the camera as it's a cheapo "point and shoot".

      The dogs are pretty patient.

    1. Linda, it's too cold for me today but mildish weather is coming back tomorrow. Mildish = 5 C or 40 F.

    1. Kathy, it 's one of my favourite places. Because it's actually owned by the DND (Department of National Defence),I worry that one day they're gonna stop us walking there ...

  5. I really am fond of the colors of your blog. And I must say that I am so glad that you did not "get rid" of the pit bull type dog that your daughter brought home. That move, on your part was all for the best and you can thank the dog for that. Novia Scotia looks so pretty in your pcitures. There is a post about a pit bull puppy that I fostered. There are a couple of pics that go with the post. I am still sad about Spotty and that I could not keep him.(I have 7 dogs).

    Regards,
    Yvonne

    1. Thanks Yvonne. It's hard not to say "yes" to every dog that needs a home isn't it ?

We have a total of 7 dogs and 6 cats in our house right now. They're not all mine, but they're all here. lol
