Late November at Hartlen Point.

This afternoon, Wendy, Trey and I went for a walk at Hartlen Point.

The sun was pretty low in the sky.  But then, the sun is always pretty low in the sky at this time of the year.

That low angle can give things a lovely orange glow,

even Trey.

Scenery changes not just with the advancing seasons, but also with the time of day and the rolling tides.

It's why no two walks are quite the same.

And that's why I love it here so much.

    1. Thanks Les. I still pinch myself almost daily. Lived far from the ocean for the first 60 years of my life. Never doing THAT again.

Must warn you Les that it gets a mite chilly here in winter. We won't we having real spring until April ... sigh ... but still the green mosses and ferns will be lurking in the woods. Waiting for me to find them and get my "green" fix.

  4. Nicest orange glow. You are right about no two walks being the same. Each one is a new adventure. Speaking of that, it's time to go on a walk now, don't you think? Our sun isn't casting orange shadows, but it's low in the morning sky and attempting to reveal its awesomeness. Doesn't happen every day in these parts lately.

    1. You better go walking with Amy-Lynn on the morning walk. She gets up reeeeeeeeeeeeeally early and goes walking on the Salt Marsh Trail with her hubby. Me ? I sleep in. That's why I have the sunset photos on my blog and Amy-Lynn has the sunrise photos. :-)
