Oh, you dirty dog !

Really the title of this post more accurately should say: "Oh, you foolish owner!".

I mean, who takes their dogs to the Bay of Fundy at low tide, and not only allows the dogs to get muddy, but actually THROWS the ball into the mucky sand ?

I'm so easily amused.

And of course, so are the dogs.

Even the normally prissy Wendy got mucky.

They had a great time, and later we went to a lovely beach and they cleaned up in the ocean.

But phew: you should smell that car !

  1. I can imagine! They look like the racehorses and jockeys look after running on a muddy track!

    1. We always have great fun, at the cost of my stinky car. Even when they're not in the car, you can tell I have dogs. I'm immune to the scent: my friends aren't. :-)

  3. I love your dogs. So happy and so proud. You are a good pet mother for sure. Nothing better than a wet doggie odor, maybe. :-)

    1. Thanks. I've gotta say that my "pet mother" award just about got rescinded yesterday. Trey rolled on the carcass of a VERY rotten seal. "TREY !!!" I shrieked. OMG the stink was at a whole new level. Immediate bath upon our return home. Phew.

  6. My hounds, who are not above rolling in the remains of some poor dead animal, will go out of their way to avoid getting any mud or water on them.

    1. Les, I prefer mud over rotting-critter-smell any day. 'course being hounds, tracking is on their minds and if you smell like saaaaay a dead skunk then the bunny you're tracking won't smell you coming. Smart dogs.
