Trey -- ZERO. Birds -- ONE.

Karma, over at her "When I feel like it" blog came up with an interesting blog challenge requesting that we create a post exemplifying the word "whimsical".

One of the definitions of whimsical is, "amusing in playful or unusual way" ...

In the interest of full disclosure, I feel a bit like a kid who hasn't really done all the research for her homework and is handing in a half-assed job, dashed off at the last moment, to her teacher as I've been a tad busy lately and let this slide.

With that caveat in mind, my whimsical post would consist of a title, and two images.

The title would be, "Trey zero: birds one".

And these are the images.

The very, very, very, very, end.

  1. LOL, Sybil! Into each life a little sh*t must fall, right? Is that a saying? If it isn't I think we should make it one ;-)

  2. Poor Trey! But you can tell him that happened to my husband once, right on top of his head, so he's not the only one to have suffered this indignity... :)

    1. Makes me thing of the old thing we chanted as kids: "Birdie, birdie in the sky, you drop whitewash in my eye. But I don't fret and I don't cry -- I'm just glad that COWS don't fly". Tell your husband that one to console him. ;-)

  3. I happened to see a truck one day that had a a bumper sticker that read, "sh-t happens." Maybe that fits Trey or not. Actually I have applied that same bumper sticker to my own life quite a few times.

  5. Very funny :)) Trey does not seem to mind because he knows it will bring him Luck. At least this is what we say in French. Love your humor, sybil.

    1. Who is Isabelle ? What am I missing here ? The only Isabelle I can think of is part of a knock-knock joke. Knock, knock. Who's there ? Isabelle. Isabelle who ? Is a bell really necessary on a bicycle.
