Itchy feet.

Some days I get sorta antsy and want to go exploring with the dogs rather than just heading to the dog park.

This morning my itchy feet took me down the road that leads to Peggy's Cove.  Just before the Cove and after the Swiss Air Memorial is a small gravel lay-by at the side of the road.

Trails criss-cross the barrens leading up and down the Atlantic shore.  In other words, it's doggie Heaven.

I love the rocks.

I find the dramatic scenery intoxicating and have an awful time putting my camera in my pocket and just walking.  I keep yanking it out to take ... just ... one ... more ... picture.

And once home I struggle once more to figure out which images to keep and which to discard.

The trail leads to a point with a lovely view of Peggy's Cove in the distance.

Thousands of tourists visit Peggy's Cove each year but few are aware of the many stunning trails that wend their way along the shore on both sides of the Cove.

What a pity.
