Lynne, that's a porcupine, a mammal that's similar in looks to a hedgehog but with quills that easily embed themselves in its predators'snouts/faces/mouths/feet.
ReplyDeleteSybil, you're going to have to watch it around Tamarack trees this spring when the babies are out and about. They're a lot slower at moving to safety than the adults.
Nope, Sybil, the dogs don't want to eat THAT! lol... We used to have a dog or two that tried it...not fun.
