Her ability to fall asleep in the most unlikely places always amazes me.
If it's enclosed, or fluffy, or soft: Sooki will sleep on it ... or IN it.
Her favourite place, after curling up under the covers on Kait's bed, is the big poofy chair in the living room,
even if someone else is already in the chair ...
'night.
Our Penny sleeps with her tongue out too, although she seems a little more lady-like about it than Sooki.
ReplyDeleteSooki has been called many things, lady-like was never among them !
DeleteThe photos are adorable. Love the one where she is sleeping stretched across two boxes. One of a kind dog.
ReplyDeleteShe's a born couch-potato.
DeleteAnimals always have such deep and peaceful sleeps, don't they? It's like they relax totally even if they can awaken and be perfectly alert in a split second.
ReplyDeleteDebra, oh to be able to fall asleep as fast as a dog ! Sooki awakens like a shot it you gently touch her hind quarters. She hates having her butt area touched. Leaps to her feet as if she'd been shot ! Needless to say we try not to do that too often. lol
DeleteLOL! I thought MY dogs were relaxed! Wow, Sooki is the queen of relaxed.
ReplyDeleteShe'd sleep 23 hours a day if you let her. And in the remaining hour she'd kill as many Porcupines as she could. Stoooopid dog !
ReplyDeleteSooki is quite the opportunist - seems she can make the best of what's around, as far as sleeping goes anyway. :)
ReplyDeleteShe could give lessons !
DeleteThese are some darn cute pictures, Sybil! Some of them rival those email forwards. ;) Love the second one especially.
ReplyDeleteKathy, she's a very photogenic dog. Thanks.
