This was the thermometer reading after only five minutes on the front railing of my nephew's house. I wonder how high it would have gone if it didn't stop at 50 C ? |
Amusingly enough I chose that day to visit the greenhouses at Allen's Gardens in downtown Toronto.
I know, I know, I need my head read, but it was lovely there !
At least the dogs at the dog park were keeping cool.
I had wonderful visits with family, former co-workers and friends in Toronto and Peterborough. I rode planes and buses and trains and subways
and even in a friend's very cool, red Mustang convertible !
I bunked with friends and with family. There were dinners, a play, long chats, marvellous walks, card games, home movies, old stories and lots of hugs. It was a lovely visit.
I am a very lucky person.
And I know it.
Sounds like fun. I bet you were glad you had no hair in that heat...tee hee! xx
ReplyDeleteI'm getting used to the very short hair. It's marvellous waking up each day and not having to fuss with it.
ReplyDeleteSee you soon.
I love the "Sit Long ♥ talk much" sign!
