The sea is calling. Can you hear it ?
There it is, through that opening in the grass,
or over the top of this hill,
or at the end of this board walk.
Oh. You're already there.
Lovely isn't it ?
I'll just leave you to your thoughts.
Enjoy.
I'll be over next week (this time I really will!) so show me that parting in the grass, those crashing waves, that golden sand. And some sun please!
ReplyDeleteAfter a good look at your pictures screened large, I close my eyes and can almost smell the sea and hear the surf. Thanks for the wee excursion.
ReplyDeleteWhere is that beach, Sybil? It looks great.
ReplyDeleteJackie, it's Rainbow Haven.
ReplyDeleteThanks for coming along Cindy.
I can promise everything but the sun Lynne.
Beautiful images. Makes me want to be there. I'm landlocked.
ReplyDeleteI hear the sea! It's singing, it's calling, it's wailing, it's begging please come play, please get your feet sandy, come swim, you do not need to scrub your toilet. Silly sea.
ReplyDeleteOh the sea always call to me, and I regret when I can't answer its call. Enjoy Sybil!
ReplyDeleteI can never decide which call is loudest: the call of the sea or the call of the wild.
ReplyDeleteThe beach looks wild and deserted and lovely just as I like it.
ReplyDeleteWhereabouts is the "up over the hill" pic located in Rainbow Haven? It's lovely!
ReplyDeleteNancy, I've gotta confess that not all those boardwalks are at Rainbow Haven -- but they're all less than 20 minutes away. Are you in Nova Scotia ?
