As you know, I love walking with Wendy and Trey along the beach at Hartlen Point.
But it's not all sand, rocks and sea, at Hartlen. Behind the beach, at this time of year, the hills are covered with lush grass that grows taller as you watch.
Wendy waits for me to lob the ball her way. |
Trey is very good at finding the ball in the long grass. |
Your dogs have the best life!
ReplyDeleteThis is what I hoped my retirement would be like. No more having to run home at lunch to let the dogs out. Instead, we spend our days together.
DeleteThanks.
Yes. Rtirement is great. I allow my dogs out every few hours. They are happier when they can get out and sniff the air and the ground. Better for the human as well. :-)
ReplyDeleteLove the photos of the dogs.
You are so right. I even love sniffing the ground too but not for the same reason as the dogs ... ;-)
DeleteYou and Wendy and Trey are certainly fortunate to have the shoreline AND the grassy hills to enjoy! What beautiful surroundings, so energizing and yet very serene...
ReplyDeleteYou are right on all fronts Barbara.
DeleteA beautiful sea of green. Lucky dogs to get to swim in it on such a regular basis.
ReplyDeleteAnd lucky me for getting to tag along ...
DeleteI think we're all falling in love with it as we read and see images...
ReplyDeleteThanks Kathy. It's such a heady time of year.
