Step 1. Think of one, two or three words with special meaning to you.
Step 2. Photograph items around your house whose first letters spell out the name of your items.
Sounds pretty easy doesn't it.
Your puzzle is two words, joined by the word "and".
HERE ARE YOUR CLUES.
Post your answers in the comments section. Have fun !
It has to be Trey and Wendy, but that would make your last picture yard. Time, rags, element, yellow; window, elastic, nine, dog and yard. Hard to say if I just named the pictures so that they would spell out the dogs' names. It was fun.ReplyDelete
I didn't even think of "time". lol. It's a "Tide Clock" and here I was thinking everyone would think of the the letter "C" for clock. Gosh. You were FAST ! Wish I had a prize for ya ! Great job.Delete
Wow, that was a hard challenge, Sybil - after going back and forth and guessing and speculating, I noticed Bonnie's comment - thank you, Bonnie, for providing the crib notes! :-)ReplyDelete
Bonnie really shocked me with how fast she got it. I thought folk would be stumped on the "clock" and the "magnets" ...Delete
Thank goodness Bonnie figured it out! I had some indeciferable guesses. Won't even dare tell you what and will have forgotten by the time I finish cleaning the stove. (P.S. Was stumped on clock first of all.)ReplyDelete

Window, Elastic, Nine, Dog, Yard
Fun to do the Post but I'm sure hard to solve. Wanna give it a try on your Blog ?
I thought about doing it yesterday. Was cleaning the house like a wild woman all day yesterday because Book Club was coming. So was going to do B-O-O-K C-L-U-B. Had figured out "Long underwear" for the "U". However, didn't get everything done on time so just enjoyed it in my head. :)Delete
I'm glad someone else is smart. My brain hurts. Cool idea, though and beautifully executed.ReplyDelete
Thanks Linda. It was fun and kept me busy for an hour or so. lolDelete
Sybil, wtf? I am not smart. I don't have the patience for figuring out things. I am a dummy blogger. I got lost on the dang stove thing and did not think to call the burner an element. It was just a burner to me. Oh well. I'm glad that first lady was a genius.ReplyDelete
WTF is right ! lol. I would not have been able to solve my own puzzle. Guess that's not a good sign ...ReplyDelete
Kathy, Blogspot isn't letting me reply directly to your comment. I write some of my best blogs in my head ... and they stay there. lolReplyDelete
Oh dear, I got stuck at "element." In my locale, that's a "burner"!ReplyDelete
It's called a burner here too. Element is another word we use. I was reaching for words that started with "E" ...Delete
How about "egg"? :)Delete
I was stumped for an E picture too and finally gave in and used egg....element was much better!Delete
If it makes you feel better I was stumped by the clock and the magnets AND the stove burner! LOL! :)ReplyDelete
Dawn, the funny thing is that I was being a wise-ass and posted a Tide clock for the letter "T", but some folk just went for Time ! lol I was surprised that someone got the Nine magnets right away. Again, me = wise-ass ! Thanks for trying.Delete
You stumped me Sybil. I started getting the inkling that it could be Trey and Wendy when I got the "Y"'s but the stove burner, the magnets, and the asparagus really threw me! I'm glad you had so much fun with this. I'm enjoying these photo hunts. I've finally chosen my objects, I just have to get them photographed and posted. I plan to do it sometime this weekend, possibly later today. Thanks for playing!!ReplyDelete
It was so much fun. Never done one of these before. Just had fun over at "isathreadsoflife"'s site .... Thanks for the inspiration !Delete
That was very difficult Sybil, I am happy someone discovered it. A great choice of words though ! I could not have done it myself. Here are the limits of my English vocabulary.ReplyDelete
You were great on my blog. Somehow I did not manage to put my comment to you in the right place, it is under "shoreacres", but it's there ! Bravo again.
Thanks so much. Yours is the only one that I have solved so far and my spirit's were a bit low ... so now I'm feeling quite pleased with myself. That was fun !Delete
Well done! You stumped me, too, but I see I'm in good company. :)ReplyDelete
Thanks for giving it a try Robin. I think the "element" messed a few folk up. ;-)Delete
You stumped me, too, with some of them....but at least the good thing about getting here late, I could see the answer in the comments ;-)ReplyDelete
Thanks so much for dropping by and giving it a shot. I've never done one of these before and think I made it overly complicated.Delete
